Welcome to the PolicyViz newsletter! My name is Jon Schwabish and I am the person behind it all.
I am an economist by training and have worked in the public and nonprofit sectors over the course of my career. I am also an avid creator of data visualizations and seek to help others create better and more effective graphs, charts and diagrams.
In this newsletter, you’ll learn how to up your game when it comes to communicating data, be it through static charts and graphs, presenting information to an audience, or being a better strategic writer and thinker.
This newsletter comes out every other week where I publish blog post-length pieces on data communication.
